Divertido Adventure Park

In the northern suburbs of Mexico City lies a large shopping complex called The Perinorte Mall and within that can be found an amusement park which on my last visit was called "Perimagico" but is now called "Divertido Adventure Park".

This is the mall, the entrance of which wasn't easy to find. I think we ended up driving in via an exit rather than try to figure it out.

The wheel at the Eastern end confirms that you've got the right place and you descend down into the park properly via an escalator nearby,

I'm liking the sign. It captures the old style Luna Park really well.

The Hurricane is a rollerskater style coaster that circles the lower floor. It's not easy to photograph but it's a pretty good layout with a large helix circling a spin ride a the end and you also get a nice behind the scenes look at the maintenance area before the ride turns back into the station.

Elsewhere the rides are little kiddy ones and of no interest to us.

They do have a haunted walkthrough attraction tucked away in a corner but it wasn't open today.

A few years ago the park expanded outside the mall to a second area which used to have two coasters but is now only home to one. Finding the route out to this was a bit tricky and we had to split up to find the route. I eventually figured it out finding a sign on a mezzanine floor above the amusement park which led to the door that opened out into the park.

Wacky Worm #7 could be found here and after it took a little explaining to the staff that we'd like to ride. I think a lot of people don't know about this part of the park so it seems to be run on a very casual basis.

After the park we grabbed a quick burrito from the food court in the mall before continuing south into the centre of the city.
