Our first day was a long one as we were planning on heading out of Mexico City immediately on landing and heading north to the city of Aguascalientes in the centre of the country. Along the way we'd stop off at a number of parks, some old and some new.
In fact the first two parks were brand new ones that everyone had previously overlooked, ironic when you realise they're really close to the flightpath of planes landing at the airport nearby. In fact having picked up our car we were in the park in around quarter of an hour.
Bosque de Aragon is north of the airport and features a large lake in its centre.
On the park that circles the lake there are 2 gatherings of amusement rides. One in the North-West of the park, and the other to the South-East.
I was certain that the first one was a coaster.
The second could be, it wasn't certain.
and yes I did find these through manually scouring the imagery in Google Earth - I have no life but I like the one I lack :D.
So having parked up and agreeing with the old security guard not to take any photos within the park we made our way in and took some photos.
It was great to confirm the coaster was still there, but it wasn't operating today plus it was before 8am so we weren't expecting it to be open anyway. This visit was just to confirm whether we needed to come back; we definitely did.
Even better the ride in the other park was a coaster too. So we were off to a great start in terms of finding new coasters, and having celebrated we made our way onto the next place.
